The Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center was established by our Kupuna, our “Elders” and this area was selected for the Healing Center because of Mauna Maili`ili`i, which is the mountain in back of us that represents “Ku” energy and also the “Papa,” which is Maili Beach Park. So, where you have the “Papa” coming together with the mountain, you have “healing energy” at that intersecting point and that’s exactly where the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is located. So we call upon that connection of energy to bring about a holistic healing – balanced energies to bring the body about to a healing process.
The Native Hawaiian Traditional Healing Center promotes traditional Native Hawaiian healing and cultural education, practices and traditions.
